Department Overview

Our team at the Munich Development Center develops high-performance memories for the graphics and AI market. As part of the DRAM Engineering Group (DEG), we are closely engaged with Micron’s global development and manufacturing network. From conceptual design to manufactured solutions, we drive every step with passion and attention to detail. Based in the vibrant city of Munich, we are a hub of creativity and technical innovation, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible!

Role Overview

To continue our legacy of high-performance memory innovation, we seek IC design engineers (m/f/d) to join our outstanding DRAM design team. You will grow alongside industry veterans with decades of experience as well as junior designers, while enjoying our unique startup-like culture. Join us on our mission towards the next generation of ground-breaking AI memories, which will shape how the world uses information to enrich life for all!

Responsibilities

• Design analog or digital blocks using full-custom, RTL or semi-custom design methodology
• Conceptualize circuits according to product requirements
• Develop schematics at the transistor-level schematic or RTL design
• Participate in logic synthesis, constraining, and Static Timing Analysis
• Conduct functional circuit verification pre- and post-layout using standard industry simulators
• Assist in silicon validation to ensure flawless performance

Required Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or physics
• Strong interest or experience in analog, mixed-signal, or digital IC design for CMOS processes
• Outstanding written and spoken English skills
• Independent and proactive approach to work
• Great teammate, prepared to collaborate in an international working environment

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with tools such as Cadence Design Framework, Primesim, Spice, StarRC, Verdi, Design Compiler, PrimeTime, Perforce, TCL, Skill, Python, MS Office, Unix, and Windows
