- Definition of technical requirements
- Logical/functional decomposition of the system into subsystems or assemblies
- Creation of system/subsystem specifications and design descriptions
- Technical management during development (technical planning, management of requirements, interfaces and risks)
- Reporting on budget, costs, deadlines and quality standards
- Preparation and execution of internal design reviews
- Coordination, monitoring and documentation of the implementation, integration, verification and validation of the system
- Internal cooperation with other departments
This position can be filled at our locations in Unterlüß, Hamburg or, secondarily, in Kassel.
- Successfully completed university degree, e.g. in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or similar
- Several years of professional experience as a systems engineer and initial knowledge of project management
- Experience in the metalworking industry is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of systems engineering tools such as DOORS and Enterprise Architect
- Very good written and spoken English
- High degree of initiative and flexibility as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel
