Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting and executing on professional procurement responsibilities for segments related to site infrastructure. such as capital equipment, facilities services, O&M agreements, and materials such as bulk chemicals and gases. Responsible for project planning, establishing a budget, monitoring progress, sourcing, negotiation, and working with internal customers and external vendors to reach mutually agreeable and cost-efficient business agreements. Ability to successfully manage relationships both externally (with vendor, 3PL) and internally. Manage project-based procurement that will facilitate contracts and agreements and at the same time working with end users to determine the best and most cost-efficient solutions for the company. Responsibilities include sourcing, negotiate pricing/terms, facilitate procurement, workflow, vendor selection/management, contract revisions/renewals, and regular reporting to management. Manage and drive the contract management process for procurement activities using Samsung systems. Work with internal customers, define scopes of work (SOW), and drive cost efficiencies. Ability to analyze and interpret financial data, solve problems, and make procedural decisions and/or judgements. Project planning and execution in regard to: defining a project scope, SoW creation, cost and benefit analysis, resource management, managing project deliverables and preparing project documentation. Assess value and product/service reliability relative to cost; plan, organize, and coordinates acquisition alternatives, as appropriate. Follow procurement rules and regulations and enforce onto procedures and activities that support Samsung processes.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Requires 36 months of experience involving the following:

1. Production control;

2. Bottleneck Analysis;

3. Product/Device Planning;

4. Inventory Management;

5. Cost control;

6. Capacity review;

7. Data analysis;

8. Root Cause Analysis

9. KPI for suppliers and tool performance; and

10. Efficiency Improvement Analysis.
