Role and Responsibilities

Monitor daily SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts to identify any trend shifts or abnormal processing events. Investigate these occurrences and take appropriate actions to maintain process stability and quality. Develop process improvements aimed at increasing yield, production, and cost reduction. Utilize Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques to identify optimum conditions with sufficient process margin, leading to improved outcomes. Oversee the transfer of new technology nodes, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation of advanced technologies. Provide guidance and support to technicians and shift engineers on sustaining activities. Share their expertise, offer technical advice, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. Collaborate with Clean equipment owners to troubleshoot issues related to equipment performance and cleanliness. Work closely with the equipment owners to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions. Collaborate with other teams such as Unit Parts and Process Integration, Yield Analysis, and Defect Engineering to solve integrated issues. Actively participate in cross-functional collaboration to address complex problems that require multiple perspectives and expertise.

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Requires 36 months of experience involving the following:

1. Process sustaining and monitoring with continuous improvement;

2. Metrology tool basics and establishing models for measurement;

3. Defect analysis, tool and process knowledge including Root cause analysis for common semiconductor defects;

4. Process characterization using Atomic Force Microscopy techniques;

5. Design of experiments and results analysis for parameter evaluation;

6. Yield Improvement techniques and continuous improvement projects;

7. Multiple tool installations and qualification;

8. Process technology transfer;

9. NAND/DRAM and NOR Process ownership/development and sustaining;

10. Writing SOP’s for various processes and recovery;

11. Facilities system evaluation and introducing SPC concepts for slurry and chemical parameters; and

12. Robotic Process Automation implementation and scripting.
