Gainsight is a leading SaaS provider helping B2B companies with multiple products under our portfolio, we’re looking for a UX Design Lead to drive an exceptional user experience across our Emerging Products team consisting of Customer Community, Customer Education and Product Experience. All of these products serve our business users at our customers and provides experiences to our customer’s customers. So design and customization are core to these products!

Role Overview

As the UX Design Lead, you will define the design vision for our emerging products, lead a small UX team, and collaborate closely with global engineering teams to deliver intuitive and high-impact experiences. You will be responsible for establishing design best practices, aligning cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring that user needs are met while balancing business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

UX Strategy & Vision

• Define and drive the user experience vision for three core SaaS products, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles while balancing technical constraints and business goals.
• Incorporate AI-driven workflows and agent-based interactions into product experiences, ensuring seamless automation and intelligent assistance.
• Collaborate with product management to align UX strategy with roadmap priorities, customer needs, and AI-driven enhancements.

Design Execution & Leadership

• Lead and mentor a small UX team, providing guidance on design best practices, user research, and interaction design.
• Develop and maintain a robust design system that ensures consistency across products, optimizes usability, and streamlines collaboration with engineering.
• Create and refine wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that integrate both standard UX patterns and AI-powered interactions.
• Partner with engineering to ensure scalability of design components and adherence to accessibility standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with global engineering teams to ensure smooth design handoff and implementation.
• Partner with product managers, customer success, and leadership to prioritize UX improvements.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from users, stakeholders, and customer research.

Process & Innovation

• Establish UX workflows, tools, and best practices to improve design efficiency.
• Drive continuous usability testing to validate design decisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends to keep our products at the forefront of UX innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience designing for complex SaaS products in a B2B environment.
• Strong expertise in user research, interaction design, and usability testing.
• Experience working with AI-driven experiences, automation, or agent-based workflows.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or equivalent design tools.
• Experience managing small teams, mentoring designers, and establishing design processes.
• Ability to work effectively with distributed/global engineering teams across different time zones.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, React knowledge is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in customer success, CRM, or enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance).
• Experience integrating AI-driven UX patterns in SaaS applications.

Termination:

If you wish to cancel your partner's coverage before the one-year commitment ends, you're responsible for payments until the 12-month period from the insurance start date concludes.

Provider: The Multisport Card is facilitated by Benefit Systems, granting access to numerous fitness facilities within their network.

Benefits:

2. Payment Structure: Gainsight covers 70% of the card cost, with the remaining 30% deducted directly from your monthly salary.

3. Partner Enrollment: You can include your partner in the program, although parental coverage is not available. This benefit is applicable to both contractors and full-time employees.

4. Flexibility: Change your preferred fitness facility on a monthly basis for added convenience.

Termination:

If you leave Gainsight, your Multisport Card benefit, along with your partner's, will be discontinued.
