Bo-Mac Contractors is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a working knowledge of accounting principles, especially in a high-volume AR environment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of billing, payment processing, and reporting activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review billing documents for accuracy and post to the company’s accounting system.
- Provide weekly AR reports to jobsite locations and management.
- Monitor lien and bond claim statuses to ensure compliance and timely filing.
- Record daily cash receipts from wire transfers and mobile deposits.
- Reconcile and report cash activity against the general ledger.
- Maintain and organize AR and general accounting documentation.
- Assist the Job Cost Accounting Manager with various tasks as needed.
- Perform additional duties within the organization as assigned.
- Interact with internal departments and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–3 years of billing or AR experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work proactively.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with accounting systems/software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve effectively.
