We are looking for a Director of Engineering.

As a Director of Engineering, we rely on you to:

• Develop the organizational structure and management operation model of the Engineering Department to ensure efficient and rational operations.
• Summarize operational and maintenance practices; formulate and approve preventive maintenance plans for equipment, facilities, and building decorations.
• Oversee cost-saving operations in the Engineering Department, track and control consumption of water, electricity, oil, etc., and strictly manage maintenance expenses.
• Propose energy-saving operation plans and budget for operation and maintenance costs based on business conditions, climate, and market energy prices.
• Coordinate relationships with municipal engineering and other relevant business departments of the hotel to foster a favorable external environment.
• Approve staff training plans and regularly conduct training for employees on professional skills, service awareness, and basic qualities.

We are looking for someone who:

• At least 35 years old; diploma in engineering, degree in marine engineering/mechanical engineering/electrical engineering.
• Over 8 years of relevant work experience; over 2 years of work experience as Engineering Director in international hotels.
• Proficient in basic oral and written English communication, able to read relevant professional literature with the help of reference books.
• Rich work experience in hotel fire safety.
• Must master basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering design, be familiar with the use and maintenance management of electronic communication equipment, computers, HVAC, air conditioning, water supply and drainage equipment, elevators, etc., and be familiar with policies and regulations on capital construction, environmental protection, work safety, and labor protection.
• Able to fully understand the general manager's management intentions, correctly handle the relationships between superiors and subordinates and between departments, and organize and command the implementation of various work plans of the Engineering Department to ensure the normal operation of the Engineering Department.
• Possess basic computer knowledge and financial knowledge, and be willing to work long hours.
• Have a strong sense of professionalism and responsibility, strong self-learning ability and adaptability, act impartially, and do not seek personal gains.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, goal-oriented, team-oriented, and have a sense of humor.
