Internship Freight Forwarding, Airfreight

Move forward as intern at DSV in Machelen.

About the role

As an intern in our Airfreight team, you’ll be fully involved in daily freight forwarding operations. Guided by a dedicated mentor, you’ll gain hands-on experience in managing airfreight shipments from A to Z, with direct customer interaction and insight into international logistics processes.

Tasks:

• Daily communication with customers about export shipments via airfreight;
• Entering shipments into our TMS system;
• Giving instructions to the customs team for document preparation;
• Coordinating announcements and quotations with the international DSV network;
• Supporting accurate invoicing and data quality;
• Applying DSV compliance rules (Security, Embargo Countries, Carriers, Goods).

Are you the perfect fit?

• You are currently pursuing a degree in an economic field, preferably in supply chain management (bachelor, or master level);
• You can communicate fluently in Dutch & English
• You are eager to learn, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment;
• You have a strong interest in airfreight and international logistics.
