As an Interconnect Supplier Quality Engineer in CSCO, you work directly with supplier partners and internal teams managing all aspects of Interconnect supplier quality. You collaborate with hardware designers, commodity managers, manufacturing engineers and drive supplier failure analysis. You establish true root causes, and drive systemic corrective actions with demonstrated preventative solutions. You extract and analyze data from supplier facilities as well as Google production lines and our data centers to verify performance and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality and reliability of interconnects (e.g., copper cables and connectors) throughout the product life cycle.
• Evaluate interconnect quality/reliability in our Agreement Manufacturer and data centers, drive improvements, investigate and coordinate failure analysis, isolate root causes, and drive actions in collaboration with the design, commodity, and supplier teams.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives with suppliers and Google Engineering team.
• Manage quality section of supplier scorecards during business reviews and drive quality/reliability improvements.
• Conduct and manage supplier quality audits, driving quality in manufacturing, quality, and reliability.
