The Enterprise IT Vendor Programs Analyst will establish, maintain, and evaluate vendor relationships to drive value and efficiencies for our decentralized ITW businesses. Aligning priorities with Enterprise stakeholders, the Analyst will develop and support IT programs that are easy to adopt, targeted to mid-market operational needs, and deliver reliable results.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Oversee vendor relationships across designated program portfolio, act as a liaison and main point of contact (POC) for IT vendor-related inquiries from ITW divisions across the Enterprise
  • Independently, or under minimal supervision, identify and address performance issues, and troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required
  • Develop communications relevant to IT vendor programs, including new program announcements, webinars, contract changes or updates, vendor roadmaps, program terminations, etc.
  • Oversee the contract lifecycle, including renewals, and negotiate contract terms, conditions, modifications, while collaborating with vendors and key stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met
  • Analyze vendor data with keen attention to detail, identify market and industry trends, gaps, and opportunities. Recommend expansions, additions or contract retirement opportunities
  • Utilize IT and contract knowledge to drive efficiencies and cost savings in contract negotiations. Responsible for ensuring that pricing is competitive by commissioning benchmarks as needed during the lifetime of the deal
  • Assist with developing Statements of Work (SOW) and driving RFI/RFP/RFQ initiatives as needed
  • Work collaboratively with ITW stakeholders to educate and interpret IT vendor contracts for ITW business across all segments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of strategic sourcing/vendor management experience is required
  • 2+ years of experience with Information Technology RFX’s (RFP’s, RFI’s, and RFQ’s) and e-sourcing tools is required
  • Exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills, including adaptability, flexibility, and driving for consensus
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly and concisely communicate information at multiple levels
  • Strong data and financial analytical skills; Ability to analyze vendor data and identify trends, gaps & opportunities, and risks with keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in manipulating data in reporting tools such as Excel and/or within a Database (Access/SQL)
  • Willingness to learn, grow, and improve vendor management processes and procedures
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to interpret and draft contracts, ensure contractual obligations are met

Compensation Information:

The compensation package for the role offers a competitive base salary ranging from $74K - $80K annually.
