Job Description

  • Expand your horizons: You assist in prototyping and exploring new solutions to improve security and automate the deployment of CI infrastructure
  • Teamwork is dreamwork: You collaborate with different IT teams across the company to implement, develop and pilot processes and solution prototypes
  • Stay ahead of the curve: You use and explore the potential of AI in your daily development and contribute to the development of modern documentation practices by working on Documentation-as-Code
  • Take responsibility: You participate in project-related tasks aimed at driving innovation and improvements. This includes rolling out prototypes, gathering feedback, defining and aligning with different stakeholders to find the best solutions
  • Keep the overview: You collaborate cross-departmentally to ensure a cohesive development environment aligning with our company's guidelines
  • Drive Transformation: You assist in the change management and roll-out of new development technologies and processes and drive innovation by creating proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for new technologies and tools to evaluate their potential and feasibility

Your Profile

  • Study field: You are currently studying Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
  • Experience: You have basic knowledge of software development and you are familiar with general programming languages and platforms. Practical experience in platform engineering or automation is an advantage
  • Skills: You are familiar with software development methodologies, version control systems and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles. Additional, container technologies and databases are known to you and API's are common in usage
  • Way of working: You have a proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • Language skills: You have good English skills, both written and spoken

Important information:

  • Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
  • Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
  • You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly
