Location: McAllen, TX | Pay Rate: $77.59/hour | Schedule: FT/Mon-Fri (8am - 6pm)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a seasoned Construction Site Superintendent to lead technical and process improvement projects across our dynamic commercial HVAC installation operations. As a critical member of our project management team, you’ll ensure seamless execution from design to delivery, helping clients achieve their operational goals while maintaining our standard of excellence.

Your Impact:

You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for executing HVAC installations across various industries, delivering results through hands-on leadership, effective communication, and technical precision. You will directly influence project success, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the full lifecycle of commercial HVAC installation projects, including design reviews, permitting, materials, labor scheduling, and field execution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to align project goals and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead Work in Progress meetings and monitor key milestones to meet deadlines and budget targets.
• Track and manage schedules, scope changes, and revenue forecasts with precision.
• Develop and implement productivity tools and documentation processes to streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and unique project specifications.
• Work toward expertise in Building Automation Systems (BAS); familiarity with Carrier i-Vu is a strong plus.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and negotiate key contracts to maintain project profitability and quality.
• Drive a culture of safety, professionalism, and mutual respect across job sites.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 10+ years of experience in project management or
• 3+ years of experience specifically in mechanical, building automation, electrical installation, or construction fields
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural plans, and technical documents
• Proven leadership in construction or technical project environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or project management
• PMP certification (or in progress)
• LEED or BACnet certification
• Advanced skills in communication, multitasking, and managing shifting priorities

Pay Details: $77.59 per hour
