Position Summary

The Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis provides advice and guidance to leaders on future financial plans, investigates ways to improve profitability, analyzes markets for business opportunities, and drives financial infrastructure projects which simplify, automate, and standardize our processes while generating accurate and timely data. The VP will manage a team of professionals tasked with preparing monthly and quarterly management reports and carrying out strategic analysis.

What will your job entail?

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner and work collaboratively as a trusted advisor of the Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Management Team, and other Finance colleagues on strategic initiatives, including business development, collaborative partnerships, and financing.
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the FP&A team to support their development and achievement of goals.
  • Develop and oversee the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, to support strategic decision-making and optimize resource allocation.
  • Lead the annual, quarterly, and monthly FP&A processes, including an annual long-range financial plan and full-year budget, quarterly forecasts and monthly variance and analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with department heads to establish financial targets aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial analysis, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and drivers of financial performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively recommend and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our reporting and analysis to key stakeholders.

Work Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA is a plus.
  • 15+ years’ experience in financial analysis with proven technical expertise and leadership in driving operational finance standards, processes, and procedures.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus.

The target salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
