Your Role
As a key member of the Subsea Structures Team, you will:
- Design & Model: Develop 3D models of subsea steel and GRP structures and piping layouts using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical.
- Produce Drawings: Generate detailed 2D drawings from 3D models and perform interface checks.
- Create Schematics: Develop P&IDs and other technical schematics.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders.
- Apply Industry Standards: Ensure compliance with NORSOK, DNV, Eurocode, ISO, and ASME standards.
- Interpret Requirements: Translate contractual and functional requirements into practical design solutions.
- Support Fabrication: Assist with defining fabrication scopes and participate in FAT/SIT activities.
Experience with structural analysis and calculations is a plus, but not a requirement.
What We’re Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks, and 2D drafting tools like AutoCAD
- Familiarity with relevant design codes and standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
