Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (+ $0.75 shift differential)
Pay: $18–$25/hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
Seeking experienced Laser Operators to set up and operate CL 900 Fiber Laser and Amada 12kW Fiber Laser machines. Must follow established procedures to produce high-quality metal parts. Responsibilities include machine programming, loading materials, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Experience Required:
- Prior experience operating fiber lasers preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CL 900 Fiber Laser and Amada 12kW Fiber Laser following established procedures.
- Load materials onto automated equipment and separate parts from conveyor.
- Perform cutting and trimming operations on sheet metal based on specifications.
- Program and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
- Interpret work orders, blueprints, and diagrams to ensure accurate production.
- Work under supervision to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
- Understand production specifications and efficiently manufacture parts.
- Maintain records of production output and report any defects or issues.
- Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to improve cutting quality and efficiency.
- Inspect completed parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Stack and palletize parts for transfer to designated departments.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience operating laser machinery preferred.
- Forklift operating experience desired.
- Familiarity with manufacturing practices and procedures.
