Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the I&C Supervisor and senior designers on technical project designs.
- Attend project kick-off and supplier meetings; review technical documentation.
- Develop and revise detailed drawings, including P&IDs, schematics, panel layouts, single-line diagrams, loop and location drawings.
- Prepare essential project documents such as BOMs, IO lists, cable schedules, and IP address lists.
- Ensure all designs meet applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC, UL508A, CEC, CSA 22.2).
- Release finalized designs to production teams and support execution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain daily work records in compliance with ISO and internal quality standards.
What You Bring:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in control systems and electrical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical; EPlan P8 experience is a strong asset.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Canadian and U.S. electrical standards and codes.
