Job Summary

The ISO Machine Technician is responsible for producing high quality commercial roofing products at the Peru Plant through accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities. The Machine Technician will perform various, rotating duties relating to all manufacturing operations, including Raw Material, Facer Unwind, Platform, Cross Cut, Multi-blade, Downstacker, Hooder, Footer, Foot / Panel saws, and Media blaster. He or she will support the managers and all plant staff to meet Peru's operational goals and perform duties as assigned. Employees will contribute to a highly motivated and positive environment.

The Machine Technician reports to the Production Supervisor under the direction of the Lead Technician. The Machine Technician must be familiar with all areas of the foam making process along with any off-line equipment associated with the production line. It is the responsibility of all Technicians to operate in a safe manner, and monitor quality of the product we produce through the use of process specifications, Plant RCN, PCN, and online testing.

Schedule

Candidates must initially have the flexibility to work any assigned shift based on customer demand. Once the need is identified, this position will transition to straight afternoon / evening shift to support increased volume. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required by business needs.

Pay Rate

$30.90 per hour

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1+ year manufacturing experience required, preferably in a fast paced, continuous process environment

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve production challenges
• Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite
• Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures
• Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to read and interpret measurements

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Hourly Rate: $30.90
