Machine Technician, Direct Placement!!!!

Job description:

• Monitor and explain deviations from expected Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Perform necessary operator checklists and data collection of quality measurements.
• Correct deviations from quality standards to produce products within specifications.
• Monitor and respond to deviations within SPC charting.
• Communicate problems, progress reports, and continuous improvement ideas to management, maintenance, and production personnel.
• Perform maintenance tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Manager and respond to machine malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot machine and process issues.
• Perform scheduled production equipment changeovers as per the plant production schedule.
• Manage preventative maintenance tasks in Computerized Maintenance Management Software, including generating work orders.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness and efficient operation post-maintenance

Qualifications:

• Machine operation and inspection
• Preventative and corrective maintenance
• Quality inspection and control
• Mechanical troubleshooting and aptitude
• Changeover and machine setup
• Blueprint reading
• Forklift and blow mold machine operation

Schedule & Wage : 2nd Shift 2:30pm - 11pm Monday - Friday and required to work on a Saturday or Sunday for OT

Work Environment :

SQF certified manufacturing environment. Very clean. 70 total employees at the site. 50 on 1st shift and 10 employees on 2nd and 10 employees 3rd shift. Person in this role need to be on call once every 11 - 12 days.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $45760.00/yr.

Good culture and people help each other out on the shift no matter their position. They are expanding their robotic palletizers and investing a lot in the Rockford facility.
