We in SCHIE’s Firmware & Software Center of Excellence creates the foundational firmware that powers the Microsoft Cloud. Our firmware lights up millions of servers and racks across the globe, enabling users to do everything from running blogs to crunching through powerful AI algorithms. We are looking for a highly motivated Principal Firmware Engineering Manager to lead a Firmware Engineering team in the US. You will lead a talented team of Firmware and Software Engineers who implement and design a variety of Firmware Solutions for Azure. Besides people management, you have experience with SoC Architecture and Design, SoC bring-up, and creation of solutions that lie at the intersection of multiple subsystems across firmware and hardware.

Firmware Engineering M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $155,800 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,400 - $303,600 per year.
