Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our Istanbul Design Center. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers who are passionate about embedded systems and quality assurance. You will work closely with development teams to validate embedded software for ADI’s ASIC and SoC platforms, ensuring reliability, performance, and compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for embedded software components.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on embedded systems.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining automated test environments and hardware test benches.
• Collaborate with software developers to identify, document, and troubleshoot defects.
• Contribute to test documentation, including test reports and traceability matrices.
• Learn and apply best practices in embedded software testing and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or in final year of study).
• Basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems.
• Familiarity with C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to embedded testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Zephyr OS or other RTOS environments.
• Experience with hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART) and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
