The primary role of IT Project/Program Management function is to manage end-to-end cross-functional delivery of IT program / projects. Key deliverables include requirements gathering, documentation, scoping, defining goals/deadlines, resource allocation, tracking budget and implementation. Management of projects in accordance with the ResMed Quality Management System (QMS). Working with internal and external groups, suppliers and other organizations as part of the delivery of the software system, including focus on integration and test activities.

Lead the planning and execution of large, cross-functional programs by translating strategy into delivery, coordinating teams and dependencies, and ensuring outcomes are delivered effectively and efficiently.

  • The primary objective of IT Project Management specialization within the IT Project/Program Management Job Family is to facilitate project and program level processes and execution, escalate impediments, manage risk and help drive continuous improvement across the projects and programs.
  • Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Responsibilities might include:
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Lead Program Planning: Define, plan, and drive execution of complex programs.
  • Manage Scope & Milestones: Maintain detailed program scope, timelines, and milestones.
  • Align Capacity & Resources: Manage capacity and resource alignment.
  • Monitor Health & Escalate Issues: Track program health and escalate risks and blockers as needed.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Execution: Coordinate delivery across teams, vendors, and support functions.
  • Communicate with Clarity: Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders.
  • Enable Scalable Practices: Embed the project management framework, including extensions for technology delivery and continuous improvement.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience for road mapping and planning
  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Preferred:
  • Working knowledge of finance planning and execution
  • Prior experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) like Agile Methodologies
