Job Title: Sample Coordination Specialist

Job Description

This role involves supporting sample coordination during the transition to a new material, requiring re-PPAP of over 100 part numbers. The position includes coordinating with internal and external groups to pack and ship new samples for customer approvals, as well as receiving samples from suppliers to ensure parts are delivered to the correct contact within the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sample packing and shipping for customer approvals.
  • Receive samples from suppliers and ensure correct delivery within the plant.
  • Utilize SAP and internal MRP systems for data entry.
  • Use Microsoft Excel for organizing and tracking data.
  • Collaborate closely with team members on the floor to manage multiple tasks and requests.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with MRP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Automotive industry experience, particularly with Ford or GM.
  • Experience in stamping processes.

Work Environment

The company specializes in stamping and gaskets. Personal protective equipment is required on the floor, including safety shoes, sleeves, and safety glasses. The role is a contract position approved through March 2026, offering a great opportunity to gain experience in the automotive and heavy industrial industry, with potential for a transition to a full-time role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
