Job Title: Survey CAD Designer

Job Description

The Land Survey Designer will specialize in the drafting and design of land surveys for a variety of commercial, private development, and public agency projects in West Michigan. They will use survey field data, collected by the survey field crew, to draft and develop designs from land surveys such as Topographic Surveys, Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, and construction staking. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and ready to hit the ground running in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize CAD standards for project designs.
  • Import survey data, collected by survey field team, into Civil 3D.
  • Coordinate with Project Management, Survey Team, and designers.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ Years of land survey drafting or design.
  • 2+ Years of experience using AutoCAD - Civil 3D.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in survey or civil engineering projects.
  • Survey field experience running surveys or collecting data for Topographic, Boundary, ALTA Surveys.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position averaging 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The role offers the opportunity to work in a professional environment, gain hands-on experience, and build valuable knowledge while contributing to a well-respected, locally established company in West Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $34.00/hr.
