Fellow: Cancer Survivorship Program

Function of Job

Under PI direction, responsible for various activities that support the Cancer Survivorship research initiative focusing on an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach.

Characteristic Work

  • Lead and assist with data analyses for manuscript preparation
  • Initiate and assist the writing of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed academic journals
  • Responsible for developing pilot project and grant proposals
  • Present research at professional meetings
  • Participate in multidisciplinary research teams
  • Attend relevant seminars, meetings, national conferences and other cancer related events as requested
  • Participate in career development activities

Qualifications

  • PhD in relevant field
  • Career interest and experience in cancer survivorship
  • Excellent written and oral skills

Supervision Received

Direction and guidance is provided by faculty PI. This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.
