RTR Associate Manager

Your role is to lead the accounting activities for FMC Corporation’s business units within the regions. You will be accountable for several key business unit accounting tasks, overseeing and managing their completion. You will also support the Global Associate RTR Director in driving standardization, process improvement, and optimization across the group. This role partners closely with the regional business controllership team to ensure high levels of financial service and enable achievement of financial results.

What you do with us

  • Lead the regional RTR Accounting team to ensure accurate and efficient US GAAP and statutory close processes
  • Ensure operational adherence to the close calendar, SOX controls, and local GAAP requirements
  • Manage internal and external audits (group and statutory) to ensure timely and efficient completion
  • Partner with regional and global teams to drive process improvements and standardization across accounting functions
  • Maintain open communication and governance between Cork and the Regional Accounting Center
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficient financial processes and documentation
  • Actively manage and develop a team of at least 3 accountants, fostering a culture of empowerment and collaboration
  • Support training initiatives by creating and delivering accounting training programs

Your qualification

  • BA / BS in Finance or Accounting (or local equivalent)
  • Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA) required
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in finance, with leadership experience in RTR or accounting functions
  • Strong accounting background with practical knowledge of US GAAP and local GAAP
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Exposure to finance transformation projects, system integrations, or transitions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Industry experience in chemicals preferred
