About the Role: We are looking for a (Junior-) Credit Controller (f/m/d) to strengthen our European Credit & Collection team. In this role, after intensive training, you will take over the receivables management of a customer portfolio in our company and will become part of an international team.

This is a part-time position (25 hours/week) and will be located at our facility in Putzbrunn near Munich with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage receivables and carrying out reminders to submit outstanding claims as well as additional activities such as developing payment plans and clarifying differences with customers of your own portfolio
  • Handling prepayments from our customers (clearing accounts, reconciliation)
  • Collaboration with other departments of our company such as sales, logistics, accounting and controlling in an international environment
  • Check the creditworthiness and determine credit limits and order approval of new and existing commercial customers based on business information, reports from credit agencies and the independent analysis of business documents and annual financial statements
  • Back up and support the Credit & Collection Team Associates as needed
  • Participation in project work and optimization of processes and workflows

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in the financial sector of an international company
  • Expertise in creditworthiness analysis and receivables management
  • Experience in MS Office applications
  • High service orientation towards internal and external customers
  • Team player with hands-on mentality and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in German and English

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable Accounting
  • Experience in SAP
  • Other European languages
