Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Experience Study Report

  • Support the target of making no resubmission and no spreadsheet errors, quality control on all output produced.
  • Provide timely and quality submission of claim experience analysis and annual study reports;
  • Ensuring accuracy of results and quality of commentary;
  • Ensure effective controls are in place according to SOPs and control documents
  • Attending to the queries from various departments regarding monthly experience monitoring reports, annual study and any task provided by experience study team;
  • Closing any outstanding audit issues from internal/external auditor regarding the experience study.
  • Ensuring no repeat and significant audit findings

Support Strategic projects for the company

  • Support various initiatives from Operation Team (Claim, UW, etc.) by providing actuarial expertise and acting as sounding board for financial evaluations.
  • Support and closely monitor the enhancement of claims related initiatives
  • Ensure good quality of work and timely completion of the projects with proper documentation

Enhancement Process and Good Documentation Practice

  • Support the review of methodology for the existing process and make enhancements whenever necessary.
  • Ensure that the reporting process are enhanced to be more efficient by adding more controls and minimizing errors; and
  • Update SOP or creates any necessary documentation for experience study process/methodology/checklist whenever change or needed
