What’s new with Aptar
We have an exciting position open: Molding Manufacturing Intern, this position will report to the Production Manager. This position is responsible for working closely with the Production Manager and the Production Team on preparing production reports
This is how your journey begins
- You will work closely with the Production Manager and Production Team on preparing production reports.
- You will create One Point Lessons and standard procedures under guidance from the Production Manager.
- You will create machine specific CIL (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate) standards.
- You will create Adjustment points, Centerline standards and changeover procedures.
- You will support CI Engineer implementing SMED (Single-Minute Exchange of Die).
- You will work with CI Engineer and Production Manager to implement Molding best practices and CI activities.
What you will bring on the journey
Education
- College sophomore, junior or senior pursuing degree in Engineering or relevant field
Experience
- Self-motivated and confident, with the ability to take initiative
- High level of enthusiasm and sense of urgency
- Strong listening, comprehension, written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented and ability work independently with changing priorities and demanding deadlines
- Works well in multi-functional team environment
- A commitment to quality, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage many work streams simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in academic, work and extracurricular arenas
- Strong experience with computers (especially MS Word, Excel, Project & Power Point )
