What will you do as an Anesthesia Technician?

  • Assist anesthesia providers during surgeries and procedures
  • Prepare, clean, and maintain anesthesia equipment and carts
  • Monitor and restock supplies; support specialty setups (e.g., TEE, difficult airway)
  • Collect and deliver lab samples as needed
  • Maintain aseptic technique and safety protocols
  • Participate in cardiothoracic emergency response as needed
  • Be able to handle a stressful environment

Schedule:

  • On-call rotation required: every 3rd day and every 3rd weekend

Training Requirements:

  • It will take 6 to 9 months for training, and we are looking for long-term employment.

What do you need to be an Anesthesia Technician?

  • Required: High school diploma or GED, detail-orientated person, patient care experience
  • Preferred: Surgical environment experience, medical terminology, basic pharmacology, BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Salary Range: $18.33-26.58/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
