Description

CTG is seeking a versatile and experienced Reporting Lead/Developer – Workday HCM Integration Developer to lead the design and development of reports and integrations supporting our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of Workday’s reporting tools, data architecture, and integration capabilities. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR, payroll, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless data exchange, compliance, and reporting for key business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Workday Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, and Dashboards to meet business requirements.
  • Create and maintain custom Workday reports used for compliance, auditing, analytics, and operational needs.
  • Partner with HR and payroll teams to define reporting requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Translate complex business needs into efficient, scalable Workday reporting solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, including specifications, use cases, and data sources.

Integration Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Ensure the integrity and performance of data flows between Workday and third-party systems (e.g., benefits, payroll, finance, recruiting platforms).
  • Support Workday data loads, transformation, and extraction processes.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure proper data governance and access controls in both reports and integrations.
  • Manage integration monitoring, error handling, and remediation efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HRIS, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including reporting and integration development.
  • Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Advanced Reporting, and Workday Prism (preferred).
  • Experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, XSLT, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
  • Strong knowledge of Workday data structures and business processes, especially in HR, benefits, and payroll.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into business terms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday certifications in Reporting, Integrations, or Studio are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or healthcare environments with complex HR systems.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and secure data handling.
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools like Jira or ServiceNow.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $121,500 to $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
