About the team The user growth team is a multiple functional and regional team and we take responsibility for driving user growth by including but not limited to product, marketing, and partnership approaches, not only focusing on new user acquisition but also focusing on users' retention. - Lead the go-to-market and user growth strategy for TikTok & TikTok Lite in Korea - Design and execute multi-channel user acquisition campaigns including offline (retail, signage), digital (ads, paid social), and influencer campaigns - Build and maintain strong partnerships with local Korean partners (telecom, media, influencers) to scale reach and daily active users (DAU) - Develop and optimize referral, affiliate, and offline user acquisition programs - Collaborate with Japan's GTM team to support growth initiatives across both markets - Coordinate with cross-functional teams (product, legal, BD, operations) and external agencies for full-cycle campaign execution - Monitor and analyze KPIs such as CPI, CVR, DAU, ROI, and continuously improve performance across the funnel
Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in Growth, GTM, or Marketing Strategy, user growth, ideally in app or platform-based businesses - Proficient in Korean and business-level Japanese required; English proficiency is a plus - Strong knowledge of the Korean digital ecosystem and consumer trends - Proven experience executing cross-channel campaigns, including paid advertising, organic reach, and influencer partnerships - Data-driven with a proven track record of improving growth metrics (CPI, CVR, DAU, ROI) - Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguity, and drive initiatives from strategy to execution
