The Tire Technician is required to:
Remove, replace, balance and repair transit vehicle tires in a safe, effective manner.

Starting pay $22.54 with yearly increases

Key Responsibilities:
Inspects tires on transit vehicles and repairs as needed, which includes proper use of equipment
to remove, replace, balance and repair them in a safe, effective manner. Maintains inventory of stock. Other
related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, along with 3-5 years' heavy-duty tire repair experience.
Thorough knowledge of tire maintenance and repairs is required.
Experience in the use of tire machine, balance, and all related tire equipment essential.
Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at
the time, which can be extremely hot in the summer months and cold during the winter months.
The noise level in the work environment can be moderate to loud.
Vibrations and fumes or airborne particles may also be present.
