WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Sales and Marketing Transformation Analyst is a full-time, hybrid role within the Commercial Excellence Go-to-Market Delivery (CE GTM Delivery) team in the Bain Capability Network, working closely with B2B GTM teams on projects across the Americas. The role will involve coordination and interactions with teams in India and US.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As a member of a 3–4 person BCN team, the Analyst supports Associates and Project Leaders/Managers in identifying opportunities for improvement across key go-to-market (GTM) levers—including market opportunity, route to market, sales capacity, account planning, sales team management, pricing, marketing, and commercial operations. Project durations typically range from 2 to 8 weeks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Analyst is responsible for conducting high-quality research, performing data analysis, and delivering accurate and timely insights to support the team's objectives. Reporting to the Project Leader, the Analyst plays a critical role in executing specific tasks within a workstream, contributing to the overall success of the project, and learning from senior team members to build expertise in GTM strategies. Projects typically span a range of B2B sectors, including technology and telecom, semiconductors, industrial goods and appliances, banking and financial services, and healthcare and life sciences.

ABOUT YOU

Required:

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree (ideally in engineering, business, or economics)
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data analysis capabilities, and sound business judgment
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments

Nice to Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in consulting or corporate strategy, ideally with go-to-market exposure and familiarity with tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or Power BI
  • Experience with GTM analytics (e.g., pricing and discounting, sales productivity, territory design using Google APIs, or account planning frameworks)
