Addison Group is supporting a confidential, mission-driven organization with an urgent need for a seasoned Benefits and Compensation professional. This organization is undergoing a transitional period and is seeking an expert to provide immediate support—either as a short-term contractor or with the potential to convert to a permanent team member.

Job Description:

The Senior Benefits/Compensation Analyst will lead efforts to guide employees through benefits enrollment, collaborate with vendors, ensure data accuracy, and support plan design and administration. This role requires someone who is organized, people-focused, and highly skilled with systems like Workday and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support to employees with benefit enrollment, timelines, and troubleshooting
  • Serve as the point of contact for external vendors and carriers
  • Assist with the evaluation and structure of benefits plan designs
  • Audit and reconcile benefit invoices for accuracy
  • Draft and communicate benefits updates and guidance to employees in clear, professional language
  • Analyze benefits and compensation data in collaboration with internal HR and finance teams

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a benefits or compensation analyst role
  • Deep knowledge of 403(b) and/or 401(k) plans
  • Proficiency in Workday and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Experience with vendors like Fidelity or TIAA is strongly preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Background in HR or financial services is ideal
