Intact Lab is working on a large change effort to ensure that the digital products and services we create are accessible and inclusive. Over the coming year, the Accessibility & Inclusion Program will continue to integrate accessibility and inclusive design into how we work by revising product design and development processes, creating documentation, coaching teams, monitoring accessible UX, and creating ways for customers to provide accessibility feedback. The Change Management Intern will support these goals and will report to the Accessibility & Inclusion Program Lead.

In this role, you will:

  • Formalize and drive the Accessibility & Inclusion Program’s change management strategy.
  • Plan and execute communications and stakeholder management to ensure buy-in and adoption of new practices.
  • Find ways to monitor change adoption.
  • Support with training and documentation, as needed.
  • Support other program analysis and communications initiatives as needed.

Qualifications: What you bring to the table

  • Knowledge of change management frameworks and best practices.
  • Ability to lead the development of, and drive, a change management strategy.
  • Experience managing wide ranging stakeholders from individual contributors to VPs.
  • Ability to plan a communications strategy to support change management.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Bilingual in French and English “Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country”.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Autonomous, responsible, and driven.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building a program from the ground up in a corporate environment.
  • You are a current student at a post-secondary institution. (Unfortunately, recent grads are ineligible for internships.)
  • You are available 20 to 35 hours/week from September 2nd.

  • Experience managing change in a corporate environment.
  • Experience managing digital transformation.
  • Skills and experience in accessibility, scrum, web or mobile development, UX design, QA, product management.
  • People with lived experience with disability and assistive technology are strongly encouraged to apply.
