Payroll Specialist

Location: Morgantown, WV

Pay: $18–$20 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

A respected CPA firm in Morgantown is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their growing team. This is an excellent Direct Hire opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accurate payroll for multiple clients
• Prepare and submit quarterly payroll tax reports
• Maintain compliance with payroll regulations
• Use QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
• Assist with additional accounting functions as needed

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of payroll experience
• Experience with quarterly payroll tax filings
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
• High School diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred
