Our organization: Recombia Biosciences is a metabolic engineering company and part of the Lesaffre Group since 2022. Lesaffre is a 170-year-old French multinational company with 77 production sites, 13 R&D sites, 63 applied technology labs, 77 production plants distributed in 50 countries, 11000+ employees from 96 different nationalities. Recombia Biosciences is currently organized in two US campuses: one south of San Francisco, in Brisbane, CA and a second one in the Greater Boston area, in Bedford, MA. Recombia operates as the metabolic engineering and advanced genome editing foundry of the Lesaffre Bioengineering Center of Excellence and Biofoundry labs located at the Lesaffre International campus in Marcq-en-Barœul, Northern France. The teams are organized in a matrix structure, and the bioengineering operations follow a globally distributed Biofoundry model, creating a highly collaborative and international environment.

Our Scope: We engineer, screen, select yeast and bacteria for industrial biotechnology applications including baking, brewing, bioethanol, flavors and fragrances, food and feed, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals to serve Lesaffre business.

Are you a talented Synthetic and Systems Biology Scientist ready to push the boundaries of microbial engineering? At Recombia Biosciences, you'll have the opportunity to innovate cutting-edge solutions using the latest systems, machine learning, and bioinformatics technologies.
