Job Description
CIBH is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Specialist to support the operations of our Fiscal Unit. This position is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial systems, and the ability to effectively communicate across departments. The successful candidate will be proactive, accurate, and committed to maintaining the highest standards in financial management and customer service.
Under the supervision of the Fiscal Unit Manager, the Account Specialist will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including but not limited to:

Required Qualifications
Vocational/Educational Requirement:
Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate’s degree in accounting or a closely related field.
Experience:
In addition to satisfying the vocational/educational standard, this class requires a minimum of one year of related, full-time equivalent experience.
Special Certifications and Licenses:
Depending on department operational needs, may require valid driver’s license and driving record in compliance with City Driving Standards .
Special Requirements:
Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies. Emergency operations support work and work locations may be outside of normal job duties.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Exp with Microsoft Office Package, especially Excel, Outlook.
Exp working in PeopleSoft is preferred.
Prior CSB / Government Accounting Experience.
Requires 1 to 2 years experience in a related position.
