Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an Agentic Data Engineering Manager, Technology Services. The role is based out of Raritan, NJ with flexibility required to work with various stakeholders across multiple sites in NJ.

The Agentic Data Engineering Manager is responsible for the technical delivery of multiple Data and Analytics solutions across the J&J Corporate Business Technology Products key initiatives. You will work closely with Business Technology partners and multiple Technology Services departments to drive innovative data products for end users, such as Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Business Stakeholders. Additionally, you will help craft overall solution architecture, lead all aspects of technical delivery, and ensure best practices are followed to optimize shared business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Technology partners to understand existing solutions/products, business needs and priorities.
  • Shape data engineering landscape with agentic framework to streamline data engineering activities
  • Responsible to build and deploy data engineering assets with reusability and scalability in mind.
  • Shape solution design in alignment with overall business strategy and Technology Service’s roadmap.
  • Coordinate and be responsible for the selection of technical project team members to ensure right mix of skillsets and experience.
  • Lead product team of Scrum Masters, Developers and AWS Admins, providing technical oversight and ensuring business goals are achieved
  • Cultivate positive relationships with other Technology Service teams to use other organizational assets.
  • Act as a consultant to other teams, challenge the status quo, market the team’s products, and provide technical leadership in the Data Solutions space.
  • Understand and articulate the benefits of reusable patterns and products developed by the team to potential adopters.
  • Keep current with Technology trends to drive standard methodologies within Technology Services.

Education

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; focus in Computer Science, Information Technology or another technical related field is a plus.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience is required.

AWS or Azure Cloud Advanced Data Engineering Concepts Deep understanding of Data Ingestion RAG frameworks using Agentic Protocols Databricks or Snowflake Data Warehousing and Data Lakes ETL Processing SQL Data Visualization(PowerBI, Power Apps, Azure Fabric) DevOps / CICD / MLOps Agile Processes (Scrum/Kanban) 10% travel may be required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,200 to $197,800.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
    • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
