Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company specializing in the commercial aerospace, defense, space and satellite industries. With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.

Position Summary: The position will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC grinding machines to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities:

• Produce parts to customer specifications via CNC grinder, manual grinding and/or polishing
• Ensure quality standards are met as required by quality specifications
• Follow dashboard to ensure customer orders are completed in a timely manner with respect to priority
• Partner/Communicate with management on problem resolutions
• Ensure accurate data entry for programming the CNC Grind machine
• Complete paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines
• Maintain a clean work area at all times
• Ensure proper PPE is worn and safety guidelines are followed
• Ensure all hazardous waste materials are disposed of correctly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
• Proven experience as a CNC Grinder or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of CNC machine operations and programming.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
