We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our World Wide Grocery Store Tech (WWGST) Checkout Engineering team in Austin, TX. This strategic role will drive the most critical and complex programs across our entire checkout technology portfolio, including global payments, US and international POS systems, boundary system integrations, quality assurance, and program management teams.
The ideal candidate will own the "when" of delivering our highest-priority initiatives, while playing a crucial role in defining the "what" and "how" of our most strategic solutions. Reporting directly to the Director of Checkout Engineering, you will be the driving force behind our most impactful programs, leading and influencing across technical and non-technical teams throughout the organization.

We manage global payment solutions, POS software, testing, and delivery for Whole Foods Market stores across the US, Canada, and UK. Our team uses our deep retail payment and POS technology expertise to deliver efficient, compliant checkout experiences. Working closely with cross-functional partners, we ensure efficient operations while continuously improving our systems.
