Essential Job Duties

Daily lab operations, including laboratory management and wet bench research working on gene cloning protein expression, and protein purification.

  • Plan and coordinate research activities (including bioprocessing labs experiments at the pilot scale)
  • Provide technical laboratory support for process development
  • Advise and assist faculty in maximizing the use of technology and provide direct consulting
  • Assist with project reports, delivering presentations, and/or performing tasks at events for collaborators

  • Experience in eukaryotic gene cloning protein expression and protein purification
  • Ability to advise and assist faculty in maximizing the use of technology and provide direct consulting

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education

  • PhD
  • Experience in bioreactor and cell culture
  • At least 15 years of accumulated academic and industry hands-on laboratory experience
