Job Title: Process Engineer III

Job Description

The Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations, with a particular focus on Swiss machining. This position requires expertise in process documentation and design, programming in Eprit or Mastercam, and a solid understanding of CNC environments. The engineer will be responsible for creating process drawings, estimating and quoting new jobs, developing process routers, assisting with quality plans, and providing technical support on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain process drawings and documents for Swiss machining and external vendors.
  • Estimate and quote new projects, develop process routers, and analyze costs in ERP system.
  • Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and vendors.
  • Analyze production performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish and maintain detailed manufacturing procedures in ERP system.
  • Address process issues on the shop floor, focusing on continuous process improvements.
  • Collaborate with clients and vendors, with an emphasis on tooling selection.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Experience in CNC environments, preferably Swiss machining.
  • Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
  • Experience in process documentation and design.
  • Programming skills in Eprit or Mastercam.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
