  • JOB SUMMARY
    • Operates the telephone switchboard, answering all incoming calls to the hospital, relays inter-hospital calls and places out-going calls in a courteous and professional manner. Responsibilities also include greeting and directing patients, visitors, and staff members; accurately and effectively paging hospital and medical staff using the hospital’s paging and public address systems; responding to and contacting various hospital and medical staff for emergency situations; researches missing or incorrect patient information and keys updated information into the Affinity computer system; prepares and mails a variety of written correspondence; performs a variety of clerical tasks as assigned. Must believe in and promote the mission and vision of Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.
  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS
    • Education:
      • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Job Knowledge and Skills:
      • Excellent communications skills. Typing speed 40 wpm.
