Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Bill client routine invoices.
  • Co-ordinate with clients regarding overdue balances, account inquiries and resolution of all discrepancies.
  • Enforce payment terms and related IMAX payment policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and update client data.
  • Assist in month-end closing of the Accounts Receivable Module, reconciliation of control accounts to sub-ledger, and preparing monthly reports.
  • Complete monthly client account reconciliations.
  • Prepare credit memos, client adjustments and journal entries within the IMAX control procedures.
  • Assist in audit review.
  • Regular filing of invoices, communications and system generated reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

  • University degree in a related discipline (e.g. accounting, finance or business) and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ prior accounting experience
  • Demonstrated intermediate use of Microsoft Excel
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work successfully under tight deadlines
  • Good communication in English
  • SAP experience is a plus
