Principal Healthcare Compliance Manager, Healthcare Compliance Office (HCO), Compliance Operations & Training
The Opportunity
As the Principal Healthcare Compliance Manager, you’ll contribute significantly to the development and implementation of Genentech's healthcare compliance strategy for policy training, communications and culture. You’ll lead the development, management and implementation of a variety of healthcare compliance training initiatives and provide expert subject matter expertise in healthcare compliance policy and risk management issues.
- Regularly interact with senior leaders and influence the development of long range plans for the organization; decisions have significant impact on own and related functions
- Develop, manage and deliver complex healthcare compliance training across several functional and business areas.
- Ensure all healthcare compliance training aligns with Genentech's rigorous standards and objectives.
- Research and evaluate evolving healthcare compliance and related regulations, with a deep understanding of the bio/pharma/DIA industry context.
- Act as a primary point-of-contact for questions about healthcare and ethics compliance, offering expert guidance.
Who You Are
- You hold a Bachelor's degree (life sciences, law, public policy, or related preferred).
- You have 7+ years of experience with a JD or 12+ years of experience with 10+ years in legal, healthcare compliance, policy, auditing, training, or communications within the bio/pharma/DIA industry.
- You have 4+ years of experience leading large-scale cross-functional project teams, particularly in healthcare compliance, training & communications, and/or change management.
- You have in-depth and demonstrable experience in healthcare compliance within the bio/pharma/DIA industry and the legal and regulatory environment related to it.
Preferred
- Graduate-level degree preferred (JD, MBA, MS, PharmD, or other PhD, or related discipline).
- A seasoned professional with impeccable ethics and a strong focus on healthcare compliance.
- A leader with strong cross-functional team leadership skills, particularly in the context of healthcare compliance and training.
- An adept communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly for delivering effective compliance training and messaging to all audiences.
- Possesses strong business acumen and enterprise thinking, with a focus on integrating compliance into business strategy.
- Adopts novel approaches, techniques, AI and other technology to deliver high quality training and communications.
This position is based in South San Francisco.
Relocation benefits are not available for this posting.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco is $174,300 - $323,700. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
