Description:You will be a Mechanical Engineer for our Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOFGLSS) team in Lexington, KY. Our team is responsible for designing and completing modifications on military vehicle and aircraft platforms to support the warfighter, and we're looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing modifications to various military platforms, including vehicles and aircraft. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that modifications meet the needs of the warfighter and are completed efficiently and effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing modifications to military vehicle and aircraft platforms
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure modifications meet warfighter needs
  • Conducting analysis and testing to validate modification designs
  • Developing and implementing design solutions that meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements
  • Working with manufacturing teams to ensure modifications are properly integrated into production

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access and is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with 3D parametric modeling in CATIA, SolidWorks or similar software.
  • Experience with creation, review, and approval of engineering change documentation
  • Experience creating ANSI/ASME Y14.100 compliant drawings
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Desired Skills:

Experience working in an aerospace

environment.

Experience with Catia V5, Creo, SolidWorks or

other 3D parametric modeling program.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret
