What You'll Do

  • Lead and support Lean manufacturing initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate safety standards.
  • Collaborate across departments to standardize and improve processes throughout multiple production sites.
  • Tackle complex plant layout, design, and workflow challenges—bringing both creativity and precision to your solutions.
  • Provide hands-on support for equipment installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues, minor repairs, and setting up preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Help investigate and solve root causes of production and quality issues.
  • Support other departments (engineering, projects, sales) with technical drawings, process documentation, and custom product solutions.
  • Maintain and implement documentation standards to ensure accurate data entry and alignment with quality protocols.
  • Promote and uphold safety standards—attending meetings and trainings as required to ensure a safe work environment.

What You Bring

  • B.S. in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 0–2 years of experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.
  • Demonstrated strengths in process improvement, metrics, and problem solving.
  • Preferred knowledge of:
    • Steel fabrication techniques (welding, CNC milling, machining, etc.)
    • Mechanical systems, materials, and construction methods
    • Lean manufacturing and engineering fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated.
  • Open to intermittent travel (up to 10%) for project support or training.
