Position: Accounts Receivable Analyst
Location: Saginaw, MI

Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Analyst performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. Maintains contact with staff, customers and sales team.
Job Responsibilities:
Under general guidance, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will:
- Post cash receipts, research payment discrepancies and maintain clean customer statements.
- Monitor, analyze and resolve customer balances (review and work with internal and external customers on variances).
- Prepare accurate and timely past due A/R reporting.
- Monitor A/R Interfaces and resolve any issues.
- Prepare manual billings for customers and submit for payment.
- Prepare monthly adjusting Accounts Receivable journal entries accurately and timely.
- Ensure effective internal controls are maintained.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests to maintain compliance.
- Perform other ad hoc analysis (project-based analysis).
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of relevant accounting work experience.
- Basic understanding of accounting and internal controls
- Ability to work well with others
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly proficient in Excel spreadsheets
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
