1. Develop strong and trusted relationships with channel partners through effective communication and timely responses to all customer-driven performance inquires.

2. Develop, implement, and manage sales strategy that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.

3. Design and deliver training programs for distributors on products, applications, and company processes and procedures.

4. Enhance company profitability through effective account management and strategic initiatives.

5. Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to strengthen company’s position within the distributor network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual sales planning process that develops mutual goals and secure internal and distributors’ commitment to that plan.
    • Identify specific measurable tactics to reach forecast and revenue targets.
    • Organizer of QBRs to steer short and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Lead and monitor Distributor performance to plan and take preventative and/or remedial actions, while maintaining and increasing company profitability.
    • Identify specific measurable tactics to reach forecast and revenue targets.
    • Understand the POA consequences related to the POS growth plan. Monitor and track inventory changes and communicate to management.
    • Execute on distribution price increases and support price optimization processes.
    • Maintain an acceptable level of performance on the Distributor's internal Supplier. Ranking measurement. Identify and resolve operational issues, working cross-functionally to drive improvements.
  • Train distributors on products, applications and internal Knowles processes and procedures. Deliver and execute on the quarterly information/training package released to the field for your distributor accounts.
  • Ensure support of OEM design-win activity through solid demand creation and fulfillment execution at your key distributor account(s).
    • Coordinate with the Regional Managers and Reps. any major POS design-win activity on a regular basis at key accounts.
    • Design, implement and monitor distributor promotions that will drive design-win activities.
    • Participate in distributor driven sales activities.
  • Obtain competitive knowledge within and outside of our distribution network.
    • Track and monitor total DTAM information at both a territory and corporate distribution level for all Knowles technologies.
    • Track and monitor Knowles market position within and outside of our distribution channel.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 7+ years in customer support/sales as well as knowledge of electrical or electronics applications and associated OEM’s process and procedure.
  • Proven track record of relationships with key distributers/sales leaders to drive execution of product line strategy.
  • Excellent Communication skills are required due to customer interaction via phone, email and direct contact.
  • Travel 50-60% is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Windows. Microsoft Office.

Pay Parency and Benefits

At Knowles, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain top talent. The salary range for this position is $90,000.00/yr - $ 143,000.00/yr. This is a good faith estimate on the applicable range and serves as a general guideline. We recognize that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences. Therefore, the offer will be determined more or less than the anticipated range after considering various factors, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s experience, education, skills and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Certain roles may be eligible for other compensation and benefits programs.
